Quarterly Forum 2022 – New Benefits Strategies for the “New Normal” – September 22, 2022

The 2022 Texas Business Group on Health (TBGH) Regional Benefits Forum served as the September SABGH educational event.  As employers and employees continue to navigate the disruptions and challenges of the COVID pandemic, it is also time to address new challenges employers are dealing with in designing health plans and wellness programs to address the healthcare needs that impact the workplace.  Topics presented were Digital Healthcare Challenges and Opportunities; Prioritizing Mental Health and Well-Being, and Mitigating the Impact of Delayed Cancer Care on Employee Health & Healthcare Costs.

Quarterly Forum 2022 – Let’s Reconnect on Benefits & Wellness – June 22, 2022

At this in-person meeting, companies who submitted an application for the 2021 Healthy Workplace Recognition Program (HWRP) were recognized by HWRP Chair, Marissa Sheffler.  Additionally, Michael Brouthers from Ikaigai Growth Partners provided a presentation on Health Care Trends & Innovations.

Quarterly Forum 2022 – Local Wellness Resources – March 29, 2022

At this virtual meeting held via Zoon, SABGH provided information on health care programs, services, and educational materials available to our organizations for free. Methodist Healthcare provided an overview of the Health Matters programs, and the City of San Antonio Metro Health provided information on the Exhale & SA Kids B.R.E.A.T.H.E. program.
